We discovered the Sonoma Air Museum while floating over in the balloon. This is an interesting place if you're into aviation history. There is an impressive collection of memorabilia in the buildings as well as many retired aircraft outside being arduously restored by volunteers.
If you happen catch any of them at work like we did, you can appreciate their passion as they share how aircraft were acquired and reassembled. Most aircraft here are not air worthy but are very impressive to see up close.
